Recently, Bitauto editors took pictures of Beijing Hyundai’s new Elantra car at a dealership. As a mid-term facelift model, the new Elantra has been upgraded mainly to the front face shape, which looks more visually impactful. It is expected that the new car will go on sale in the third quarter.

Compared with the current model, the main changes of the new Elantra are concentrated in the front face. The front grille is divided into two, the headlights on both sides continue to be integrated with the front grille, and the lower surround adopts a through-type design. The larger air intakes on both sides further enhance the recognition of the front face.

Since it is just a facelift model, the side profile of the car is basically the same as that of the current model. The changes at the rear are not as obvious as the front face. The new rear surround looks very sporty, especially the addition of U-shaped silver elements. Very refined.

The interior is basically the same as the current model. In terms of power, the new Elantra is expected to continue to be equipped with 1.5L and 1.4T engines, and the transmission part is matched with CVT and 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox.
