On August 1, BYD announced sales data for July. 7Monthly sales were 262,161 units, of which 261,105 were passenger cars, a year-on-year increase of 61%. From January to June 2023, BYD's cumulative sales of passenger cars reached 1,509,266 units.

BYD's two major sales networks, Dynasty and Ocean, sold a total of 249,959 vehicles, a year-on-year increase of 54.1%. The Denza brand sold 11,146 vehicles in July.

18,169 passenger cars were exported in July, and 92,458 were exported from January to July.
