Recently, a set of spy photos of the Ford Bronco Everglades were exposed. It is reported that the new car has more extreme off-road capabilities and will begin accepting reservations in the summer of next year (2022).
Judging from the spy photos, the new car is already in the quasi-mass production stage, and there is an obvious wading hose assembly on the right side of the front windshield. Meanwhile, Bronco Everglades have wider wheel arches and upgraded off-road tires than the regular Bronco. There's also a Warn Industries winch on the front bumper.
Of course, there will be other improvements to the new car, but we don’t know all the details at the moment. Additionally, a Sasquatch package is expected, which will feature 35-inch Goodyear mud-terrain tires on 17-inch lockable wheels, Dana locking differentials and Bilstein shock absorbers.
From what we know so far, Ford appears to be positioning Bronco Everglades as capable of crossing deep water vehicle. This likely means it will have 33.5 inches (851 mm) of water wading capability.
