On November 20, NIO announced that the number of charging piles exceeded 20,000, covering 306 cities across the country. NIO charging piles are open to all new energy users and have provided nearly 30 million services to more than 110 brands.

NIO stated that its 20,000 charging piles cover 306 cities across the country, reaching Fuyuan in the east, Kashgar in the west, Mohe in the north, and Sansha in the south, covering the four pole cities in China with an altitude up to 4,469 meters.

While continuing to build a high-speed battery swap network, NIO is also actively deploying a high-speed supercharging network. 1,090 high-speed supercharging piles have been built, including 228 high-speed 500kW ultra-fast charging piles. It has become the automobile brand with the most high-speed supercharging piles in China. Allowing users to enjoy the industry's most efficient energy replenishment experience during long-distance travel, whether they choose to replace or charge batteries.

NIO continues to deploy charging and swapping stations in destinations with imperfect infrastructure but high aspirations. Since opening the country’s first Sichuan-Tibet fast charging route on December 22, 2020, it has now connected 3 Sichuan-Qinghai-Yunnan routes into Tibet. Routes, Duku Highway, Silk Road and other 70 Power Journeys charging and swapping routes. It has provided nearly 30 million charging services, with a cumulative carbon emission reduction equivalent of 419.959 tons, which is equivalent to the carbon dioxide absorbed by 3.78 million fir trees in 30 years.
